How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Komen Evansville Tri-State is investing more than $516,810 in local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in our 28 county service area. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. Our Affiliate is proud to have contributed more than $190,000 toward research in 2012-2013.

Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support projects in the Evansville Tri-State service area starting for the fiscal year April 1, 2015 to March 31, 2016. Projects that specifically address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application will be given priority.
