PINK Sunday is a program where local faith-based organizations and Susan G. Komen® Evansville Tri- State can collaborate on the fight against breast cancer. Our goal behind this program is to increase breast health awareness and decrease the amount of breast cancers in the community.
To aide us in this program, we ask that each congregation have one PINK Sunday Ambassador. We will provide them with the education materials and information they will need as a PINK Sunday Ambassador. We hope this will empower them to serve as breast health educators and organize your congregation’s event.
PINK Sunday is a way to help Komen’s promise to save lives and reduce the deaths caused by breast cancer.
