The purpose of this program is to help with treatment costs for those uninsured or underinsured women and men who have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer and are living in the Evansville Tri-State Affiliate area.

Deaconess Hospital Foundation

Deaconess Breast Services Outreach Program $67,337

This program provides access to mammography and diagnostic services such as ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies for the uninsured and underinsured in Southern Indiana.    Services are also provided on their 3D mobile mammography coach throughout Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky.

Sharing the Vision: Early Detection of Breast Cancer $54,993

This program provides for mammograms, diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies for the uninsured or underinsured women and men living in Daviess, Gibson, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Indiana.  Services are available through mobile screenings as well as St. Vincent’s Breast Center.

This program provides for mammograms and diagnostic services such as ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies for the uninsured and underinsured living in Western Kentucky or Perry and Spencer Counties in Indiana.

Illiana Breast Health Awareness $36,145

This program provides for mammograms and diagnostic testing such as ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies for the uninsured and underinsured in Knox, Pike, Gibson and Daviess County, Indiana.  As well as providing services for those in Wabash and Lawrence Counties in Illinois.

TOUCH, Inc.

TOUCH the Lives of Breast Cancer Patients $20,000.00

This program provides non-medical financial support for breast cancer patients in Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties in Indiana.  Services covered include but are not limited to: housing, groceries, insurance and transportation.

Daviess Community Hospital

Breast Health Grant $7,200

This program provides for mammograms, diagnostic tests and patient navigator services to residents of Daviess and surrounding Indiana Counties.

Indiana Women In Need

Survivor Support Program $6,000.00

This program assists women with non-medical services such as:   babysitting, house cleaning, groceries and transportation.  Counties served by this grant are Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh and Warrick in Indiana.

This program provides for mammograms and diagnostic services such as ultrasounds, MRI’s and biopsies for the uninsured and underinsured living in Henderson, Union and Webster Counties in Kentucky.

Mobile Mammography outreach to outlying areas $4,000

This program provides for mobile mammograms to rural and low-income residents of Wayne and Edwards Counties in Southern Illinois.

Our Turn: A Breast Health Program $2,777

Gilda’s Club Evansville

Survivor Assistance Program $2,500

Gilda’s Club will provide gas and grocery cards to assist survivors with transportation and food costs while undergoing treatment and will also train survivor mentors for all breast cancer survivors.
